Taste of the Bluegrass

2010 God’s Pantry Taste of the Bluegrass

Dad’s Favorites wins “Best KY Proud Food of 2010”

On May 29th, 2010 The God’s Pantry Taste of the Bluegrass Charity Event took place at Keeneland in Lexington Kentucky. This event showcases the very best food and drink Central Kentucky has to offer. More than 60 great restaurants and beverage distributors all in one place, with live music, and a silent auction, with proceeds going to help God’s Pantry in their quest to feed the less fortunate. The Taste of the Bluegrass Event, held in Keeneland’s Keene Barn & Entertainment Center, offers participants the opportunity to sample and get to know the many wonderful foods and beverages made locally here in Kentucky. Among the featured guests was Dad’s Favorites Cheese Spreads. Dad’s Favorites was awarded the “Best Kentucky Proud Food Product of 2010” a highly regarded people’s choice award  voted on by local consumers. James and Susan accepted the award on behalf of the Dad’s Favorites Cheese Spreads Family and expressed their most sincere gratitude to God’s Pantry and the many people who helped Dad’s Favorites along the way. Dad’s Favorites is proud to be a part of the God’s Pantry Taste of the Bluegrass Charity Event. God’s Pantry does an incredible job feeding people and caring for the less fortunate, and we are thrilled to be able to help them in their mission. We are honored to be chosen the Best Kentucky Proud Product of 2010, and we extend our appreciation to our fellow Kentuckians who helped us achieve this award.
